So the pop star, 26, caused quite a stir when she Tweeted a message about not eating to her 22.7 million followers.
"Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay," Gaga Tweeted Tuesday.

What's more, the singer has admitted to struggling with an eating disorder herself. Asked about body confidence at a California high school conference,Gaga revealed that she "used to throw up all the time in high school."
"The dieting wars have got to stop. Everyone just knock it off," she said at the time. "Because at the end of the day, it's affecting kids your age – and it's making girls sick."
Her recent Tweet drew loads of criticism from Twitter users, including the National Eating Disorders Association, which replied, "Huh? This is the same person who recently implored girls to stop dieting?"
While some fans defended Gaga, saying she was just Tweeting in jest, others were upset by the message.
"I don't care if Lady Gaga's #popstarsdonteat tweet is ironic," wrote @carolyngreg. "still sends the wrong msg to her MILLIONS of teen girl fans."
As of Friday at noon, Gaga has not responded to the criticism, nor Tweeted about the matter again. Her rep did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
